Investigation and structural conditions assessment for the redevelopment of the former Neuhoff Packing Company, a 14-acre site located on the west bank of the Cumberland River. The site includes several buildings constructed between 1906 and 1950, and framed with brick masonry, cast in place concrete and steel. The site’s signature building is the 260,000 sf concrete-framed slaughterhouse and exterior ramp. Jeffrey Beane was the project manager and lead engineer for the investigation and structural conditions assessment.*
